Akron (Ohio) Hoban defensive end Greg McMullen has become very familiar with Nebraska over the course of the recruiting process so far, as he has been out to Lincoln on three occasions already.
On Wednesday the 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end said Nebraska remains at the top of his list.
"They're number one, yeah," McMullen said of the Cornhuskers. "It's just the fact that they're different. It's sort of in a secluded area. Even though there are 250,000 people in the area it's a whole different style. The area and environment are different.

"There's a lot more time for you to focus on what you need to do."
Who else is involved with the Rivals100 prospect?
"Right now I'm focusing on Nebraska and a little bit on Notre Dame. I'm also focusing somewhat on Ohio State," he said.
"I'm about to start looking at USC, UCLA, Miami and Florida."
Where do those four schools stand with McMullen?
"Well, they're a little bit behind (the other three schools) because I haven't done all my research on them yet," he said. "I haven't been out there for visits. I did want to look at them because they're in different locations and whole new areas. I wanted to get out of the Big Ten for part of the summer and then come back to the Big Ten and visit a couple more schools."
McMullen said he has a relative in North Carolina that will be taking a trip down to Florida. He will join him on trips to Miami and Florida. He also has a relative heading out to Arizona. McMullen will join him on that trip and head to southern California from there.
While Nebraska is at the top of McMullen's list other schools have a little while to sway him.
"I'll probably make a decision midseason of my senior year," he concluded.
McMullen was recently given the No. 88 spot on the initial Rivals100 for the Class of 2012.
