Huskers latest offer for Louisiana WR/DB

One of Louisiana’s top prospects recently picked up another scholarship offer and addition good news on the academic front.
“I’ve got an offer from Nebraska now,” said Hahnville wide receiver/defensive back Darius Reynaud. “I’ve got offers from LSU, Colorado and Nebraska so far, and it sounds like Michigan State and Ole Miss are close to offering. They’ve been showing a lot of interest and talking like they might.

“I also got some good news on my score. I got a 24 on my ACT (2.5 GPA), so I’m going to be all qualified.”
That could also trigger more offers for Reynaud (5-10, 190, 4.5) who had 494 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns as a junior.
Are there any favorites heading into summer?
“I’m leaning toward staying in state, so LSU looks good,” he said. “I like it because it’s close to home and I feel comfortable with the coaches there. They also have good academic programs and support for their athletes.
“But I like Colorado and Nebraska a lot, too. They’ve got great tradition. I may try to visit them before I decide. I’m not in a hurry or anything.”
Reynaud plans to camp at LSU in July.
