Huskers head coach making move

Credit Nebraska coach Bill Callahan for hitting the ground running. The new Husker head coach is out already hitting the recruiting trail trying to find players that could come in and contribute and haven’t made their decisions yet.
One of those players is three-star weakside defensive end Adam Blankenship.

Blankenship, who is 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, is now debating whether or not he’s going to visit Missouri or Nebraska next weekend, according to his father.
“We seemed to be close to making a decision, but things could get interesting now,” Bill Blankenship, Adam’s father and head coach, said. “He was scheduled to visit Missouri next weekend, but Nebraska called tonight. So I would honestly think he might be going up there instead, but he’s not been home for all of us to talk about it.”
Blankenship, ranked as the No. 25 weakside end, has already visited Colorado State and Tulsa. Coach Blankenship said Tulsa is definitely in the fold to land the all-state selection.
“Tulsa for sure is in it,” he said. “He’s going to visit either Missouri or Nebraska. He wants to take one more visit, so he’s going to do one or the other.”
