Husker commitment taking visits

Papillion (Neb.) Lavista quarterback Allan Evridge committed to Nebraska in June. But, the recent string of events at Nebraska have altered things a little.
“The coaching change has shaken everything up,” Evridge’s father James said. “We are concerned who the staff will be at Nebraska.

“We’d love for Allan to stay committed to Nebraska. But, the big question is who will the coaches be after this is all done. This will give us a chance to evaluate a couple other programs.”
Those other couple programs are Kansas State and Iowa State.
“Kansas State and Iowa State have expressed a lot of interest in Allan,” the elder Evridge said. “We are going to visit both schools here in December.”
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Evridge will visit Iowa State this weekend (Dec. 5) and follow that up with a trip to Kansas State on December 12.
“We will be taking an official visit to Nebraska sometime,” he said. “It depends on when is best for them. We would like to take it when students will be around so we can get the most out of the visit we can.”
