Hunt taking things slowly

After committing to UCLA early in the recruiting process and then opening his recruitment back up, Dashon Hunt has decided to take things much slower the second time around.
The Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake four-star cornerback has taken one official visit to Nebraska and loved the experience. He is slowly looking at taking other trips.

"It was good there," Hunt said of his Nebraska trip.
"I really enjoyed it. It was a new environment and it was really cool. They were just showing me around and telling me they want me."
Hunt, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound recruit, is not ready to make any decisions though and is looking to schedule some other official visits.
Although the Westlake standout does not have any dates finalized, Hunt said Boise State, Oregon State, Cal and Arizona are the main schools coming after hm.
There is still a lot of time, though, before National Signing Day and Hunt does not want to rush anything.
"I'm not sure of visits," Hunt said. "I'm still kind of in the process of scheduling a few."
As for a decision time, the four-star wants to wait. One visit is down and Hunt would like to take a few others before committing again.
Since he committed early and backed off that pledge, Hunt wants to make absolutely certain when making his choice this time.
"I just want to wait until the end to make my decision," Hunt said. "I'm not quite sure on a time just yet."
Rivals.com rates Hunt as the No. 26 cornerback and No. 240 recruit in the 2013 class. He's No. 28 in the California state rankings.
