Hundley lands first scholarship offer

Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas Moore three-star quarterback John Hundley is scholarship-less no more.
The 6-foot-3, 208-pound sleeper from Louisiana, has now picked up a scholarship offer from Louisiana-Lafayette, and if things keep progressing, he might have several more offers to pick from here shortly.

“I got offered by ULL yesterday, and Friday LSU came by the school and got a whole game tape of me against Carencro,” Hundley said. “They’re going to take the tape back and give it to Jimbo Fisher and see what he has to think about that.
“I also know that Ole Miss is coming by this week, too. I think it’s their off week, so they’re going to come by and get some tape, too.”
So far on the season, Hundley is 83 of 139 for 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. He’s helped his team to a 7-1 record and if they win out against Parkview Baptist and Northside, they will have the No. 1 seed going into the Class 4A state playoffs.
“We have two really tough games,” Hundley said.
Hundley impressed quite a bit at the Baton Rouge NIKE Training Camp and looks to finally be getting the attention he deserves.
