Humphreys looking at Pac-12

Connor Humphreys is certainly not being picky with his recruitment since the 2014 defensive end is just getting started but if he had his wish playing in the Pac-12 would be his preference.
The Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic standout said that way friends and family could see him play and he'd be staying closer to home.

"I'm keeping my options open," Humphreys said.
"I don't really have a favorite but I know I want to go Pac-12. Being in the Northwest would be great and if I play in the Pac-12 my family and all their friends could get out and watch me."
Wyoming and Portland State have offered the 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect so far and he's had a busy summer. Humphreys is hopeful his recruitment will pick up even more during his junior season.
"Since I'm only going to be a junior no colleges can make contact with me until September 1 but I think Oregon State and Utah are pretty interested," Humphreys said.
"Arizona State is pretty interested, too. I've gotten a lot of recruiting questionnaires from those schools."
Over the summer, Humphreys attended the Portland State camp and that's when he was offered. He also went to Washington's camp, a lineman camp in the Northwest and he played with the under-17 team in Texas.
The 2014 recruit is hopeful more Pac-12 schools get involved soon.
"That would be great," Humphreys said.
