Humphrey focused on two schools

Highland, Mo. wide receiver Jerrill Humphrey is still looking at two colleges at the top of his list. Before school starts next month, he hopes to have visited both schools.
“Jerrill is still looking mostly at two schools,” Humprhey’s mother said. “Missouri and Kansas State are at the top of his list. He really likes both of those schools.”

Humphrey is the No. 17 rated wide receiver in the country by Rivals.com.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Humphrey has been to Missouri for a team camp and has seen the campus on his own as well.
“He has gotten to see Missouri already a couple times this summer,” she said. “He has been planning on going to K-State too. But, so far he’s not been able to get there. He’s still trying to make it work out to get over there before school begins.”
A decision for the four-star rated Humphrey could be coming before long, but his mother doesn’t think it will be real soon.
“I really don’t think he’ll have a decision too quickly,” she said. “He’s trying to find the best possible place where he can be the best player he can. I don’t want him to rush into anything. We want to check out the schools he is looking at and right now it appears those two schools are out in front of the others.”
Humphrey also has scholarship offers from Arkansas and Purdue and has received attention from Colorado as well.
