Hughes set for final summer visit

Rivals250 linebacker Travis Hughes is looking to round out visits for the summer. The 6-foot-1, 228-pounder has plans for one more trip in the next week.
"We're going to Clemson on the 14th," Hughes' father Tony said. "He hasn't been to Clemson yet and he wants to get up there while they are playing. We promised them we would come, plus he's got a place to stay with Tajh Boyd, so that just makes sense."

Outside of that visit, Hughes will be busy the rest of August.
"He's got practices on Saturdays and his first game is on the 27th so there is a small window to take visits."
What's the plan from there?
"We're getting close to a decision," he stated. "The decision might be made before the season. He's going to make it early; he isn't going to wait until the end of the year.
"He's definitely looking at Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Maryland and Clemson. He's most definitely planning to go to the games at the beginning of the season for Maryland and Virginia Tech's openers, the first weekend."
While it's up in the air, Hughes isn't ruling out officials to a few others.
"The LSU official is likely. Michigan, Tennessee and Clemson are possible for visits far away too."
