Hughes ready for recruiting process

Treyvon Hughes hit the ground running in 2012, rushing for 1,461 yards and 16 TDs on 205 carries. For his efforts the Waxahachie, Texas running back earned first-team all-district honors and began to turn heads with his hard charging running style.
As fall turns to spring the recruiting process awaits and the 5-foot-11, 195-pound back is anxious to see things pick up.

"It's pretty stressful actually, but I'm getting help from the coaches and some of the players like Patrick (Lawrence) he'll help me out sometimes," Hughes said of the recruiting process. "And we're just sending out my film."
Unfortunately Hughes missed seeing college coaches at school because he was sick with the flu. However, he has received significant interest from Boise State and Southern Miss, and is hearing Texas is interested in him as a linebacker.
He has not attended any junior days to this point, but plans to attend the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour when it stops through Cedar Hill, Texas on March 17. He also plans to attend the Nike SPARQ Combine in Allen, Texas.
This summer, Hughes plans to hit the camp circuit as well, and has one stop he knows he wants to make.
"I definitely want to go out to TCU," Hughes said. "I heard it was a good environment so I definitely want to go out there and see for myself."
It is still early in the recruiting process, but he does have a general idea about what he is looking for in a future program.
"Just a pretty good environment and one that everyone loves," Hughes said. "One that's not a party school and one that's in a pretty good place."
