Huge WR has interest, transfers schools

It's hard to overlook massive wide receiver Josh Brooks. The 6-foot-6, 190-pounder recently transferred from Garner High School in North Carolina. Rivals.com caught up with the impressive prospect to find out more about him and where he's at?
"I just moved to Fishburne Military Academy in Waynesboro, Virginia," Brooks said. "I'm here just for the semester now. I'm not sure where I'm going next year.

"I came here to get my grades up."
Despite missing three games last season, Brooks accounted for approximately 530-yards receiving and eight touchdowns for Garner.
"I think I played in about seven games," he said. "I think my height and jumping ability are good.
"I still want to work on my speed and footwork more though."
It's no surprise with his size colleges are interested.
"I don't have any offers, but I am getting a ton of letters," he said. "One of my coaches at Garner said both South Carolina and Wake Forest wanted to offer, but neither have. I'm also hearing from Alabama, NC State, Duke, UCLA, Michigan, Virginia and Michigan State."
Does Brooks like anyone in the early going?
"I like NC State, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Miami," he stated. "I like NC State because it's close to home and they are a good school. The rest of them I like because of their style of play."
Brooks is also a basketball recruit as well receiving interest so far from Tulsa.
"I actually like basketball more than football, but if I could I'd like to play both."
