Huge VA corner lands first offer

Offer No. 1 has come in for a humongous cornerback in the Commonwealth. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder pulled the ACC scholarship today after attending a camp yesterday.
"I got an offer from Maryland, it's my first offer. I'm happy for it," Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor cornerback Mario Rowson said. "I like Maryland. I like the way they play press up cornerbacks I can fit right in.

"I like their defensive back coach too. All the coaches are cool. I met Coach Friedgen as well. He's pretty cool."
Rowson confirmed he plans to take a return visit to College Park after July 4th.
Currently Rowson is at camp at Penn State with Lake Taylor.
Are any other visits coming up?
"I'm going to Virginia Tech on July 11th and I don't know when, but I'm headed to North Carolina. I've got to call their coach."
At this time, three schools stick out.
"I like Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Maryland," he said. "They are all kind of close. I haven't been to Virginia Tech or North Carolina's campuses.
"I just am looking for a place that can help me do my best and get me better with all the potential I've got."
