Huge new offer for Hardy

A West Coast power has jumped into the mix for Rivals250 defensive tackle Templeton Hardy of Sardis (Miss.) North Panola, who is now up to 15 total offers from Division I-A programs.
North Panola head coach Vincent Johnson confirmed the scholarship offer.

"In May, USC assistant Brennan Carroll came by my school," Johnson said. "He said that this was the first player they have recruited from the state of Mississippi."
Carroll informed Johnson yesterday of the Trojans' intent to offer Hardy.
"Coach Carroll called me and said they had the chance to sit down and watch Templeton as a staff," Johnson said. "Coach Pete Carroll is very excited about him. They informed me that they feel he is a three technique and that they have only offered two other players, Marcus Forston from Florida and Ethan Johnson from Oregon at that position.
"They have verbally offered and they said a written offer was on the way."
The Trojans join Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, LSU, Stanford, UCLA, Rice, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, San Diego State, Tennessee and Tulane in offering Hardy.
Hardy had nine sacks during his junior season.
