Huge junior season for PA athlete

Athlete Dubois Ross of Bangor (Pa.) Pius X put together a very memorable junior season and is now beginning to see the benefits of it in his recruiting process. Ross took a recent visit and has several more scheduled.
"Recruiting is going well," said Ross, who is 6-foot-0 and 175-pounds. "I don't have an offer, but I've been getting handwritten letters. I recently took a visit to Syracuse and it was a great experience."
Aside from Syracuse, Ross is also receiving steady interest from Temple, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Rutgers and Princeton. He will visit several of these schools in the coming months.

"I'm taking a visit to Rutgers, to Temple for spring practices and to Michigan State for a junior day," said Ross. "I hope to find a school that has a perfect setting, class sizes between 20-40 students and a program where I can work hard and accomplish goals."
Last fall Ross excelled on both sides of the ball. On offense he finished with 49 receptions for 1,177 yards and 19 touchdowns, plus he added 20 carries for 232 yards and four touchdowns. On defense he totaled 95 tackles, five interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Ross is being recruited as both a wide receiver and a cornerback, and is working on improving his route running skills this off-season.
