Huge game for New England RB

Milton (Mass.) Catholic Memorial running back Lennox Whitworth might have just had the kind of game that brings offers from many of his favorites.
"I had 370 yards on 16 carries with five touchdowns," said the 6-foot-0, 218-pounder. "I scored on runs of 66, 16, 78, 71 and 67 yards."

Not only did Whitworth have the game of his life, but he did it against perennial Massachusetts power Xaverian Brothers High School, the No. 3 team in the state at the time.
"We're 5-4 now and we had a feeling heading into the game that they'd take us lightly," he said. "This was a huge win for us because no one thought we could beat them."
Whitworth now has 1,300 yards on the season and is hoping his big game will attract some offers.
"My favorite team is North Carolina but they haven't offered yet," he said. "I'm taking an official visit down there on Dec. 6. I have an offer from Boston College and they're right behind UNC. I also like Syracuse, Michigan and South Carolina."
Whitworth can also play linebacker but prefers carrying the ball.
"I think I'm better on offense," he said. "But I'll play wherever. If North Carolina offers me, I might commit."
