Huge 2007 MD tackle starts to get interest

Josh White out of Salisbury (Md.) Wicomico is a huge 6-foot-6, 290-pound junior offensive tackle. The lineman prospect has received interest from a handful of schools already.
"He's being wooed by everybody including Connecticut, Maryland, Penn State, Syracuse, West Virginia, Virginia and the Ivy League," said Wicomico head coach David Nettles. "He may have the longest list of interest of anyone in our junior class.

"All the schools are just starting to invite him for camps, but his decision is going to come down to his mom because he comes from a wholesome family that is reluctant to just send him anywhere. I know education is key to Josh and schools with higher education will get first bids."
White hauled in 26 tackles, 10 for loss and three deflections as he was named second team all-conference as a junior.
"He sticks out like a sore thumb in our league because we usually just don't have guys that big," he said. "He's got a real offensive mentality and has blossomed into a good ball player despite the fact that he has only played football the last couple years."
