Hudson names Pac-12 leader

Thomas Hudson had limited social media in the last few months so he could not publicize his offers. Once he got Twitter going, everybody started learning that he could be one of the best-kept secrets in Northern California.
The 6-foot-5, 252-pound tight end from San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty has landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Oregon State and almost the entire Mountain West and he's excited to see what happens next in his recruitment.

"They've been coming in since January but I haven't had a Twitter so I could get them out so no one really knew about them," Hudson said.
"My friend told me to make a Twitter so I could get recognized.
"It first started with San Jose State and then Arizona. They came in and they started trickling in after that. Once Arizona started it was all the Mountain West schools and then more of the Pac-12 schools started coming by and they watched my film."
Hudson said once college coaches saw him in person and sat down to watch his highlight tape the offers started coming in even quicker.
"Basically, once they started coming in to watch my film they would offer me a scholarship once they see me in person," Hudson said.
There are a lot of offers but the Archbishop Mitty standout said USC is his favorite. The coaches are supposed to see him work out soon and he's hopeful an offer comes. It sounds like it would be a no-brainer for Hudson if the Trojans jump in the mix.
"USC is showing the most interest," Hudson said. "They're my No. 1 school. They're supposed to come down in the next couple weeks and I'll run some routes. My coach is a good friend of coach (Justin) Wilcox and coach (Steve) Sarkisian. Hopefully that works out because they're my No. 1.
"I grew up watching them and I really like how they ran the offense up at Washington. They passed the ball to the tight end a lot. It's also USC with the education, the tradition and the football has been great."
