Hudson has one more visit planned

Evan Hudson visited UNLV last weekend, will see Air Force this weekend and then the three-star tight end from Bothell, Wash., said he should be ready to make a decision.
Hudson, a 6-foot-6, 246-pound recruit, is undecided whether he'll announce his choice soon after his Air Force trip or if he'll wait until National Signing Day next Wednesday but it is clear UNLV and Air Force are the teams in contention. Eastern Washington has also offered.

A new staff has energized the UNLV program, said Hudson, who finished with about 25 receptions and six touchdowns in his senior season.
He saw that first-hand when he went to Las Vegas last weekend and talked with first-year coach Bobby Hauck and some assistants.
"I liked the campus and the coaches a lot," Hudson said. "They offered me and that's really sweet so I'm pretty interested right now. It was pretty big to see what it was all like and then the offer is pretty big.
"I liked the campus, it all seemed really nice. You're not too far away from too much stuff on The Strip but you're not going to be there much because you're in college. All the coaches seemed like they had a ton of energy and I felt like they're going in the right way."
A coaching change might scare off some recruits but Hudson said he's confident the Rebels are headed in the right direction. He especially got along with tight ends coach Brent Myers, an important relationship to build on as decision day nears.
"I'm pretty confident where they're headed because they seem really energetic, confident and really excited where they're going," Hudson said.
No date has been set for a decision but Hudson said it could come soon after he visits Air Force this weekend.
The Falcons are recruiting him at tight end and defensive end. UNLV strictly wants him to play offense. Rivals.com recruiting analyst Barry Every called Hudson a "major steal" after watching him play in September.
