Huber excited by latest offer

Rolling Hills Estates (Calif.) Peninsula offensive lineman Todd Huber returned Wednesday from a pair of unofficial visits in the NorCal region. Huber visited Stanford and Cal and walked away with yet another scholarship offer.
Huber and the rest of his teammates will begin double day workouts this Friday. Before hitting the field, the talented lineman wanted to check out two of his favorite schools one more time.

"I had already been to Stanford and Cal but it was still good to visit the campus one more time and see the teams practice. I was at Stanford Monday and Tuesday. It was good to watch the team practice, they looked good. Erik Lorig is a former teammate of mine and he's playing well, he's running with the first string at right end right now.
"I also toured the campus and overall it was a good time. I was at Cal on Wednesday and did basically the same thing. Before practice started, I had a chance to talk with Coach Tedford and he offered me a scholarship. I wasn't really expecting that so that was a great surprise. Cal was one of the schools I really wanted an offer from so now I feel I have almost enough information to make a decision if I wanted to commit early.
"Right now, I really don't know what I'm going to do. I'm taking some time and just think about what is the best thing for me. I really don't know if I'll take official visits, commit early, I'm just trying to sort through all that. In my head, I have a few schools that stand out over the others but I just kind of want to keep that to myself right now. As soon as I feel like I'm ready to make a decision, I'll go ahead and do it. It won't be this week, but it could be anytime, just whenever I'm comfortable with what I want to do."
