Hubbard has two more to keep an eye on

Besides star prospects Marcus O'Hara and Joel Younkins, Hubbard, Ohio features two other players to watch according to head coach Jeff Bayuk. Tight end Cody Pitts and defensive tackle Mark Dell aren't receiving nearly as much interest as the other two, but Bayuk feels both could certainly receive more as the recruiting season goes on.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Pitts is an impressive tight end prospect.

"Cody is a really good player that has good hands and feet," he said. "He is a real tenacious and tough kid that runs great routes and is excellent at finding the open area. He doesn't drop that many passes at all and is a great defensive player too. He led our team in sacks with seven last season. He rushes the quarterback with reckless abandon."
Besides seven sacks, Pitts registered 48 tackles with six of them for loss.
Defensive tackle Mark Dell is a little bit of an undersized lineman at 6-foot-2, 260-pounds.
"He is a beast on the field and very good technically," he said. "He probably doesn't have the height to be an offensive lineman, but he could play both sides of the ball in college. He is a very good finisher and comes off the ball and rolls his hips into blocks really well. I would say right now he is probably a better blocker than Marcus and is the fastest lineman we have. He was also our team's leader for pancakes with 19 last season."
Dell was named all-conference and all-county as a junior.
Many of the schools in the MAC including Kent and Akron have been in touch with Pitts and Dell so far.
One other player to watch for in 2008 out of Hubbard is 6-foot-1, 180-pound quarterback Mark Kanetsay.
"Last season he broke our schools passing record throwing for 1,085 yards and 15 touchdowns," he said. "He is a pure pocket passer that is really good. Bernie Kosar came to one of our practices and made some comments to me about his ability and potential. He is really a guy to keep an eye on."
