Howeth to take one visit

Dallas White two-star strongside defensive end Micah Howeth is back from his double-dip recruiting weekend visit to both Kansas and Kansas State and it looks like one of those teams will make the final list when it comes to decision day.

“I was at both Kansas and Kansas State this past weekend, but I really loved the K-State visit,” Howeth, who is 6-foot-2 and 250 pound, said. “I was really impressed with both places, but I loved K-State. There are some really nice people up there and they talked about how I could come in and contribute pretty early for them.”

But still, Howeth said he’s going to take one more visit before he makes the final decision between Oregon, K-State and Alabama.

“I’ll make the decision when I get back on Sunday,” Howeth said. “Those are the three that I’ll pick from.”
