Howard sees more major interest

Theo Howard had a fantastic junior season where he put up good numbers and he's landed a bunch of offers as well.
More could be on the way.

The 2016 wide receiver from Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake said recruiting has slowed down a little bit but some major programs have reached out recently and could be next to offer.
"Schools are still reaching out," Howard said. "It has kind of slowed down just because there's that period between the season ending and spring ball starting.
"I've been hearing from Oklahoma, I'm talking to Alabama actually and Oregon is talking to me, too."
Howard, who had 52 receptions for 869 yards and seven touchdowns in his junior season, has already been offered by Arizona State, Cal, Michigan, Oregon State, San Diego State, TCU, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington State.
Some programs have emerged as frontrunners for the Westlake standout but Howard said he wants to remain open to all teams.
Howard is expected to attend the USC-UCLA game this weekend in the Rose Bowl and he's also planning a lengthy schedule of unofficial visits this off-season as he gets a better feel for his recruitment. No trips are planned yet but Howard expects to hit the road.
"It's still kind of up in the air in terms of visits," Howard said. "I haven't made for-sure plans as to where I'm visiting yet but I will definitely get to a lot of schools that have offered me.
"I definitely do like schools like UCLA, USC, TCU and Michigan but I think there are a lot of schools that I like. Everybody is still up there."
