Howard intrigued by Big 12 offer

Theo Howard has proven to be one of the top 2016 wide receivers in California this season and a new Big 12 offer has caught his attention.
The Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake standout was offered by TCU recently and he said after talking to that coaching staff that the Horned Frogs have definitely moved up his list.

"Just after talking to all the TCU coaches and getting a feel for that program, I think TCU has moved up into my top five," Howard said.
"I like how they throw the ball around. They throw it a lot. The coaches are good guys. I just feel like I'd fit in well there."
So far, Howard has been offered by TCU, Arizona State, Cal, Michigan, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington State.
The Horned Frogs have caught Howard's attention but he admits that Michigan, UCLA and USC still round out his three favorites.
"They're still up there," Howard said.
The Westlake wide receiver who already has 33 catches for 545 yards and seven touchdowns this season is picking up serious interest as well.
Howard said Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Maryland have reached out recently and since it's still so early in his recruitment he wants to stay open to all programs.
A big slate of unofficial visits this off-season could be big to Howard, who said he wants to see Oregon State, Washington, TCU, Texas A&M and others to get a much better feel for where he stands with certain programs.
"It's going to be hard but I'll get it done," Howard said. "It's still very early. I don't really have a favorite at this point."
