Houston WR picking up new interest

Houston (Texas) Lamar wide receiver Brandon LaFell has taken three official visits, but three schools are now trying to position for the final two visit slots on the three-star rated prospect's calendar.
"I have already visited Arizona, Missouri and Nebraska," the 6-foot-3, 180-pound LaFell said. "All of the visits have gone well, but Arizona has filled up the spots they had at wide receiver. So, of those three, it would really be down to Missouri and Nebraska."

LaFell, the nation's No. 29 rated wide receiver is now hearing from Florida, Oklahoma State and Miami.
"Coach (Urban) Meyer has extended me a scholarship offer," LaFell said. "I am looking to visit there either this coming weekend (Jan. 7) or the weekend of Jan. 28. Oklahoma State is going to have me visit Jan. 14, if it works with my basketball schedule. Miami has shown some interest and I might try to visit there."
LaFell isn't ready to make a decision, but is aware of each school's situations at receiver and the style of offense run.
"I know who is at each school and what kind of offense is run. There are some places that could get me on the field quicker, and there are others who have offenses that make more sense for a receiver to be part of. I'll learn more as I take these visits."
