Houston to get visit from LB

One of the state of Texas’ better linebacker prospects has picked up another Division I offer and has lined up his first official visit. So who has now offered Alto, Texas, linebacker Tad Scott?
“I’ve been offered by Stephen F. Austin and by Houston,” Scott, an all-district performer that is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, said. “I’m going to visit UofH on December 12. I’m still talking to SFA and also to North Texas.”

Scott, a two-star recruit, said his season didn’t end quite the way he wanted. His team finished 5-4 overall and 2-3 in district play. Despite doing all he could and racking up tackle after tackle, it wasn’t enough.
“I think I personally played pretty well, but it doesn’t matter since we lost,” he said. “We started out the season with a loss, but then we ran off five games in a row. Then we lost to Garrison and after that it just went downhill.”
