Houston TE nearing a decision

While Cypress (Texas) tight end Colby Goodwin seems to be nearing a decision, one school has entered the sweepstakes to cloud the picture.
Kansas State recently offered the 6-foot-5 physical tight end, to join Houston, Duke, Utah and Arkansas.

"They talked to my coach and offered," he said. "They are an interesting program, so I'm going to do some research on them. Right now, Utah and Duke are my favorites and I plan on verbally committing in the next three weeks."
Goodwin caught over 180 yards last season in receptions and three touchdowns. He is a tremendously physical run-blocker, which is Cy-Fa ir strong suit on offense.
"I might look skinny, but I like to challenge any defensive end around," he said. "That is just my mindset."
Cy-Fair opens up the season against The Woodlands next Friday night.
In other Houston-area news, Utah recently received a verbal commitment from Houston Westside linebacker Eric Dago.
