The 6-foot-3 athlete has offers from Louisiana-Lafayette and New Mexico, and is hearing from Kentucky, Louisville and Miami to boot.
Fitzpatrick will be visiting New Mexico in weeks to come and is busy lining up other official trips.
During the state semi-final game, Fitzpatrick had seven catches for 144 yards and a t ouchdown. He tallied 51 catches and 838 yards for his senior season at tight end.
"It's really getting busy for him and he's thrilled," father Tony Fitzpatrick said. "He wants to play at the next level and he's got the tools and drive to do it."
Tony Fitzpatrick was an all-American at Miami at defensive tackle and played in the NFL as well.
