Houston Speed Skill: Top offense

Recruiting wrap: Cleveland is committed to Texas A&M.
Performance: The four-star wideout was practically unguardable as he used a quick burst to blow past the cornerbacks that matched up against him. Cleveland made some great catches on deep routes, but he was also a force on underneath swings to the middle. In seven-on-seven, he took a short catch on a rollout play for a 45-yard touchdown, sealing his case for position MVP.

WR
Cedarian Lamb (2017)
Richmond (Texas) Foster
Recruiting wrap: Lamb has no offers, but Colorado, Houston and Maryland have shown interest.
Performance: Possessing perhaps the quickest feet in the camp, the four-star receiver easily slipped past cornerbacks and made numerous catches down field. When he wasn't beating defenders for long gains, Lamb was hauling in passes near the sideline by planting his feet and turning quickly for the football. He created space and capitalized with very reliable hands, earning the "Lightning in a Bottle" award.

RB
Darius May
New Orleans (La.) McDonough
Recruiting wrap: May is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: May was exceptionally quick in space and looked very fluid despite checking in at 6-0, 173 pounds. He ran solid routes up the seam, constantly beating linebackers to the ball and then making the necessary cut to gain separation. May was the running back MVP for the event.
5
QB
Reece Shaw
Frisco (Texas) Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Shaw has heard from Baylor, Houston, Missouri, North Dakota State and TCU.
Performance: Despite some difficult throwing conditions, Shaw didn't shy away from testing corners deep or in tight coverage. He showed great anticipation on cross routes and made quick decisions when he had to.
6
WR
Jalen Preston (2018)
Manvel, Texas
Recruiting wrap: Preston holds an early offer from LSU.
Performance: Though he was one of the younger prospects in attendance, Preston certainly looked seasoned. He showed great concentration on a deep throw, keeping the ball alive as he fell to the ground before making a sprawling grab. Preston displayed really strong hands, too.
7
RB
Kameron Martin
Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial
Recruiting wrap: Martin is committed to Baylor, but is listening to other schools.
Performance: The scat-back was a standout during individual drills, moving well with the football and hitting the second level with aggressiveness. Martin also proved to be a reliable receiver when he moved out of the backfield.
8
RB
Cameron Henry (2018)
Waco (Texas) La Vega
Recruiting wrap: Henry is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: Like Preston, Henry looked wise beyond his years, showing the confidence that is not often seen in underclassmen. Henry had a few catches in one-on-one drills where he sped past a linebacker, and he looked comfortable in open space with the ball in his hands.
9
TE
Zarrian Holcombe
Humble (Texas) Summer Creek
Recruiting wrap: Holcombe is committed to Texas A&M.
Performance: A big target at 6-5, 215, Holcombe gobbled up whatever was thrown his way. He moved well on vertical routes despite working through a lower body injury, and he also had a phenomenal diving catch on a low throw while he was running away from the football.
10
WR
Michael Tolds (2017)
Manvel, Texas
Recruiting wrap: Tolds is new to the recruiting process
Performance: Tolds wasn't the biggest receiver in attendance, but he certainly played big. He got open often and attacked the football at its highest point, shifting his body while in the air and battling defensive backs time after time.
