Houston school starts on defense

Schools looking for talented players in the Houston area need to look no further than Houston C.E. King where it starts with their defensive end Warren Dugas.
At 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, the talented young man fits the physical profile of a Division I athlete. Coach Mike Malkowski says that early trips and a hefty recruiting process is ahead.

"Well Warren went up to Texas during the season, so he's been there and seen that," Malkowski said. "Just about everybody has contacted him by mail from all around. As far as offers and stuff, he hasn't received any yet that I know about. He's just taking things as he comes."
Dugas totaled up sacks as a junior. In previous updates, he would like to take that talent somewhere in the state. Texas seems to be one team he has a high interest in. That's not all that C. E. King has to offer.
After last year's hurricane, defensive lineman James Jordan who moved in from Mississippi. Malkowski says that he is one special player who showed up at the school.
"He's doing real well," Malkowski said. "He's just kind of getting in everyone's mind right now. He's got a great upside and I think a lot of people are expecting big things. I think Mississippi State was one school that was aware of him before he fled to Houston."
Quarterback Charvis Nash is a 5-foot-10, 163-pound true athlete.
"We run the option, so he's very good at that," Malkowski said. "He would like to play quarterback, but we're so limited now in college with what they'll take. We're hoping he gets in as an athlete because he can really do special things. He started last year as a junior for us and he's starting to get noticed.
It appears there is no shortage of talent for C.E. King with Dugas leading the way.
