Houston school loaded with bigs

Houston Cypress Creek has become one of the more popular recruiting spots this spring.
The sidelines on coach Greg McCaig's practice fields have been lined with college coaches to see several of his 2010 prospects.

Offensive lineman Cameron Fleming verbally committed to TCU months ago and defensive tackle Will Hampton committed to Stanford over the weekend.
"He and Cameron Fleming took a visit out there and the whole nine yards," McCaig said. "Will went ahead and committed. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world, so I'm not surprised. He's going to be a solid DI player and he's a really smart kid."
Another athletic big-man is also climbing the recruiting boards and is quickly picking up offers. Offensive tackle Archie Muniz has had a big spring and currently holds offers from Mississippi State, Northwestern, Rice and UTEP. Utah has verbally offered the 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman.
"Archie is a tremendous athlete for a big guy," McCaig said. "He is a young senior-to-be and has not reached his peak physically. He's basically still growing. He's a very aggressive and intelligent football player with a great upside.
"It's great to see the development of these big guys in practice every day," he said. "They've been banging on each other for two years and it has made them tremendously better."
