Houston school has stud sleeper

Spring (Texas) High School's Westlee Tonga has snuck under the radar for months, but several schools have taken notice.
Tonga (6-4, 230-pounds) has moved around the offensive and defensive lines for the past two years at Spring, but he is projected as a tight end on the Division I level.

"We had to move him around because he is one of our best players," Spring coach Sonny Karras said. "He moves well and he's going to only fill out. He's going to be a big-time tight end after a couple of years."
Utah is first to offer, while Tonga visited Rice last weekend. He will be taking visits to Tulsa and Utah in weeks to come.
With Tonga the 2007 headliner for the Lions, defensive end Charles Soloman is the most impressive prospect for Spring in 2008.
"We just did testing and he's 6-3, 235-pounds," Karras said. "He's got an incredible motor and he's a Division I kid next year. Once he gets his test score, he will get some offers."
