Houston schedules third official

Four-star running back Ryan Houston has already scheduled two officials to North Carolina and Louisville. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder out of Matthews (N.C.) Butler believes a third school may have landed an official from him as well.
"I'm going to Louisville on January 12th, North Carolina on the 19th and I think North Carolina State on the 26th," he said. "I like both of the coaches at Louisville and NC State and their programs. They are running back schools that know how to utilize me.

"I really like Louisville since they had Michael Bush. He's a big back like me and I think I could take over where he left off. As for North Carolina State, I haven't really gotten a chance to meet Tom O'Brien, but I hope to when I take my visit."
Houston is still considering trips to Clemson and Florida.
Meanwhile, the Rivals250 prospect maintains he's still committed to the Tar Heels.
"I'm not turning my back on them because things go bad and the coaching change," he said. "I don't want to decommit yet, I still like it there. I haven't gotten to know the new staff, but when I go on my official next month I hope to know more about them. On all my trips, I'm going to be looking for the school that fits me and feels like home."
This past weekend, Houston participated in the Shrine Bowl.
"The Shrine Bowl was fun," he said. "It was a real pleasure to participate with those guys. I didn't get to play that much, but I did what I could when I was out there.
"I learned a lot off the field. It's not just about the football game. It's about the children in the hospital and how they need your help."
