Houston OL says Cowboys

There had been rumors that Houston Westbury offensive lineman Mickey Okafor was still a soft verbal to the University of Houston. That changed after his next official visit this past weekend to a Big 12 school.
After taking in the Oklahoma State-Oklahoma contest Saturday, Okafor verbally pledged to Oklahoma State.

"I really like the atmosphere here and the fans were just crazy," Okafor said. "They were calling my name and everything.
"It's close enough to home and it's just like family up here. I was also impressed with all of the new construction going on up here as it relates to athletics. That was impressive to see."
Okafor verbally committed to Houston over the summer and had accumulated several offers including Texas Tech, UTEP and Texas A&M.
"The food is great up here too," he laughed.
Okafor is projected as a tackle and was hosted by Cy Falls' Andre Sexton and Westside's T.J. Minor, both of Houston.
