Houston OL gets hometown offer
Houston Cypress Creek offensive lineman Cody Harris was one of the more intriguing prospects that Rivals100.com evaluated in its early film viewing.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Harris had a never-say-stop motor, and it’s that type of play that has earned Harris his first scholarship offer.

“I got my first full scholarship offer from Houston on April 30,” Harris said.
“I have not given a verbal commitment at this time, but it’s a good offer. I talked to them on May 1, the first day the coaches could call.”
But it’s also not likely to be his last. Early in the May evaluation period, Harris’ list has changed dramatically. It now includes new teams like Kansas, Colorado, LSU and Northwestern. He said he would like to hear more from Texas and A&M, too.
Harris has also increased his bench press from 340 pounds to 390 pounds.
