Houston (Texas) Yates linebacker Tyrell Graham has scheduled his first official visit even though his season may not be done by then.
“Tyrell is all set to go to Kansas State the weekend of Dec. 10,” Graham’s mother said. “He got the date lined up with them, but if the playoffs are still going on, he won’t be able to go. The coaches there are fine with that. If he can’t go then, he’ll find a date that works out for them and him later on.”
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Graham, who has offers from Oklahoma State, Houston and Kansas, does not have any other visits planned.
“That’s the only one he has set up right now,” she said. “He’ll try to get the other visits lined up after his season ends. He is talking to Oklahoma State, Kansas, Houston, Arkansas and LSU about visiting, but we’ll see how things go. All of them are very good schools with a lot of qualities. Right now, I really like Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Arkansas, but this decision will be up to Tyrell. He will talk to us as he goes through the process, but we want him to be happy with his choice.”
