Houston LB de-commits from long time choice

Alief (Texas) Taylor linebacker Cheta Ozougwu made a commitment to Tulane earlier in the summer but now has had a change of heart.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder said Monday evening that he's de-committed from his original school choice. Now, he's looking at two schools who have offered him and looks to make a decision this Friday.

"I just came back from Rice and I felt like I really fit in with the players," Ozougwu said. "They're going to do some big things and they've made some changes to the program. I called the coach from Tulane and said it was in my best interest to de-commit.
"I still love Tulane, but it's not the environment I want to be in."
Rice seems to be the frontrunner, but Louisiana Tech is also in the thick of things.
"I'm going to decide on Friday between those two," Ozougwu said. "I might consider TCU, but they seem like they're full."
