Houston DT has process still open

Houston (Texas) Memorial defensive tackle Brad Girtman gets closer to a decision as one more visit goes into the books.
"I am closer to a decision than I was last week," the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Girtman said. "But that is only because I have taken one more visit than I had a week ago. I am still open."

The No. 15 rated defensive tackle just returned from his third visit, this one to Oklahoma State.
"It was awesome," Girtman said of his visit. "The people there are just great. Thye are really cool. I was not expecting that to be the case."
Girtman, at one point a Sooner commitment, now considers no school a leader.
"Everyone is the same. I just want to take my last two trips and then decide. I'm not going to get something in my head and then take a trip thinking one school has this or that."
Girtman wants to find a good academic situation and that was a plus for the Cowboys.
"The school at Oklahoma State was really nice. From an academic standpoint, they had a lot more to offer academically than Oklahoma did. And academics are an important part of my decision."
