Houston DE picks up first offer

Galena Park, Texas, strongside defensive end Chancellor Roberson has received his first offer from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Roberson (6-2, 240-pounds) is also receiving interest from the likes of UCLA, Oklahoma State and LSU, just to name a few.
“I’m really excited to get my first offer and I know few others are getting close,” he said. “I’ll be in Dallas for a month with my family and camps. I know I will be going to TCU, SMU and Oklahoma State.”

As for his favorites.
“If OSU, LSU or UCLA were to offer – I think I would have to accept,” he said.
Roberson transferred from Dallas Skyline High School as a sophomore and began starting right away for the Yellow Jackets. He also starts for the Galena Park basketball team.
“Chancellor is a freak, athletically,” Galena Park coach Mike Coker said.
“We moved him from tight end to defensive end last year and he is going to dominate. He is more athletic than Trumaine (Johnson) and may be stronger. TCU was on him when he was in Dallas and has followed him here.”
