Houston DE headed to Big 12

Houston (Texas) Westside defensive end T.J. Minor found a place he was comfortable with and decided it was time to make his college choice.
“T.J. has committed to Oklahoma State,” Westside coach Bill Wilson said. “He just felt good about that and went ahead with it. He called them about two weeks ago and committed. He was ready to get it over with and move on.”

Wilson thinks Les Miles and the Cowboys have landed a super addition to their team.
“T.J. is a great young man,” the coach said. “He is a great guy and a great player. He will be a fine addition to their team and someone that they can be proud of both on and off the field.”
Minor had scholarship offers from both Oklahoma State and Houston. He also received interest from Iowa, Kansas State and Texas A&M.
As a junior, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Minor recorded 35 tackles and eight quarterback sacks.
