Houston DB picks up first offer

In a loaded year for the city of Houston, Memorial High School safety Bo Aycock is yet another prospect in the area to pick up an early scholarship offer.
The first-team all-district selection stands at the 6-foot-2, 192-pound mark. Describing himself as an aggressive tackler, it's not surprising that he's ushered in recruiting interest from several schools. One of those schools has offered, but he's keeping his options open early.

"I just got an offer a little while back from Army, but the main mail I get is from Northwestern, I'm talking to them the most, and also Purdue along with Texas A&M. I'm talking to Missouri a lot too actually."
Aycock says that he's looking for a school that has solid academics. He's also looking at a few upcoming visits.
"I was supposed to go to the Northwestern and LSU junior days, but I couldn't make those," Aycock said. "I managed to get to A&M for their junior day and I'm talking to Missouri. I'm supposed to go to their spring game."
Aycock, who started as a sophomore for Memorial, says that he's keeping his options open and doesn't want to rush a decision.
"I kind of want to wait," Aycock said. "I haven't had any other offers besides Army, so I just want to see what happens when more comes my way."
