Houston DB another top recruit

It was only a matter of time before another top prospect from Houston (Texas) Madison High School started a hefty recruiting process. This time, it's cornerback Loyce Means who has added a load of offers since the NIKE Training Camp.
Right before getting to the camp, Houston gave the 5-foot-9, 156-pounder his first scholarship offer. Means has added several more and one team leading the way.

"Well, right before the camp, Houston came with their offer," Means said. "The only other team that was kind of talking about it too was NC State. Now, TCU, UTEP, Oklahoma State, and Indiana have all said an offer was coming.
"I actually just came from the TCU camp and they said they were offering me a scholarship."
His early favorite has yet to offer, but Means is hopeful that happens.
"Texas A&M, they're on top," Means said. "I just like the school and it's not too far from home. What can I say, I like their football program."
As a junior, Means had 25 tackles, seven assists, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one sack. That earned him not only first-team all-district honors but MVP of the district as well.
"I"m a man-up corner," Means said. "I like to jam up my man and get agressive when the ball is snapped."
Means says he'd like to wait a while before making his decision. However, he'll start some more visits this summer.
"Most likely I'm going to try to visit OSU, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas, and UTEP," he said. "I'll probably commit like after my senior year or something."
