Houston ATH taking things in stride

Houston (Texas) Westside athlete R.J. Jackson continues to take recruiting in stride.

“R.J. has kind of his choice of schools really,” Westside coach Bill Wilson said. “There are a lot of schools that are recruiting him and that want him to commit to them. But, R.J. is taking his time and taking in everything he needs to. He wants to make the right choice when it comes time to do that.”

Jackson’s most recent list includes schools like Oklahoma State, Texas, Florida, Houston, LSU and Miami.

“I know he likes those, but he’s keeping all of his options open, still. He doesn’t want to cut anything off. He is studying all of his options, so he is informed and can make the best decision for him.

“I don’t know if R.J. is about to make a decision or not. Sometimes, I think he’s about ready to say ‘I am going here’ or ‘I am going there.’ But, he hasn’t done that, yet.”
