Houston-area WR has first scholarship offer

Baytown (Texas) Lee wide receiver James Cleveland is one of the top wide receivers in the Lone Star State this year and already has drawn attention from several schools, including one that has extended a scholarship offer already.
"James has a scholarship offer from Iowa already," Lee coach Dick Olin said. "He is getting letters all the time from schools all over. There are several every day for him."

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Cleveland will make his first trip this weekend when he travels to Austin.
"I know James is going to Texas this weekend," Olin said. "He is going up there for their junior day. He's looking forward to that."
Cleveland hauled in 73 passes for 985 yards during his junior season.
"I think he will show people that watch him on film that he is one of the best receivers in the state. He has good size, good hands and can run. He'll make someone very happy when he decides where he is going to go to college."
