Houston area prospects add offers

The city of Houston is popping with college recruiters and stacks of offers are being earned this spring football season.
Cy-Ridge receiver Kevin Johnson has been a hot prospect and Oklahoma State's offer on Thursday gives him a dozen.

"I've got some tough decisions to make," he said. "I really need to start doing my research and narrowing things down. I'm really excited about the Oklahoma State offer and love how they compete. I've been really watching Dez Bryant and Zac Robinson. They are really impressive."
Johnson will be the Rams' starting receiver, but will play quarterback in some packages.
"I'm even playing some safety, I'm the punter and the holder," he said. "Whatever I have to do."
Klein Forest defensive back Damion Payne was recently offered by Wake Forest and Northwestern, and is planning unofficial visits to Stanford. He has already been to Kansas this spring.
"I'm pretty open right now," he said. "I'm liking Missouri a lot, but it's still early," he said.
Teammate and offensive lineman Zach Bolton picked up an offer from Baylor University this week, giving him seven.
Katy tight end and Stanford-commit Zachary Swanson picked up offers from Arkansas and Cal, and it seems that Oklahoma State is nearing.
"I love Stanford and what they have to offer," he said. "I'm flattered by the other offers and am listening to what they are saying. It's Stanford right now, though."
