Houston-area OL headed to Tulane
Galena Park, Texas offensive lineman Dhamari Thomas has chosen Conference USA to play his college football.
His parents both educators, Thomas verbally committed to Tulane University this week. He also had an offer from Louisiana-Lafayette and was being pursued by several other Division I schools.

"He and his parents are very excited," Galena Park coach Ray Zepeda said. "That is a good fit for him and he is solid. He likes the academic part of Tulane and the potential to play early."
Thomas (6-2, 285-pounds) has started since his sophomore season and also starts for the Yellow Jacket basketball team.
"The Tulane coaches came to see him last weekend and we got all the details squared away," Zepeda said. "He is very athletic for his size."
