Houston-area OL commits to North Texas
North Texas coach Todd Dodge has swept through the Houston area on a recruiting trip this week and picked up sleeper offensive lineman.
Klein's Matt Tomlinson (6-4, 270-pounds) met with Coach Dodge at the school this week and an offer was extended to the first-team, all-district athlete. He had offers from Rice, Tulsa, UTEP and Indiana.

"He committed to North Texas and I think it is great," Klein coach Stan Labay said. "I think Matt was impressed with Coach Dodge and what they have planned for him. Heck, I'm excited for him."
Tomlinson also stars on the Klein basketball team, which forced him to miss some weekends to take official visits on.
