Houston-area kicker gets offers

Kingwood, Texas kicker Jonathan LaCour is the man with the golden leg. The winner of last year's Lone Star kicking challenge, LaCour is starting to generate some Division I interest as a kicker and punter.
"He has a big leg and kicked it out of the end zone every time but once this season," Kingwood coach Dougald MacDougald said. "That really helped us this year control field position. He's a Division I kicker and may be one at punter to watch out for."

LaCour received his first offer over the weekend after taking an official visit to Missouri. He will be tripping to Texas Tech this weekend and lists LSU, Northwestern and Indiana to round out his top five. He has also been offered by Stephen F. Austin.
"I really liked my trip to Missouri and see myself playing there," LaCour said. "I want to check out a few other schools before nailing my decision down."
The 6-2, 200-pound kicker has speed and strength to complement his leg. He has been timed at a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash and benches over 260 pounds.
