Houston-area DE planning busy spring

Sugar Land (Texas) Austin defensive end Shane Jarka continues to receive attention from a lot of schools, but two have risen to the top of the attention scale.
"I don't have any offers right now," the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Jarka said. "Northwestern is sending me a lot of handwritten letters. Same with Houston, too. They are both pretty regular with the letters.

"The others are still sending me mail, too. Just not the same quantity. I am still hearing from Iowa, Kansas State, Missouri, Northwestern, Texas, Wisconsin, SMU and TCU."
Despite the early attention, no school has moved to the top of Jarka's wish list.
"I don't have a favorite," he said. "I'd like to go anywhere that wants me and will give me a chance."
Jarka will be busy this summer with football camps.
"I'm going to go to camps at TCU, SMU and the NIKE camp at Fort Worth later this month. My dad is looking at some more places, still, but we don't have any planned, yet."
