Houston area athletes finishing process

Cypress (Texas) Falls High School has had its fair share of receivers over the years. With two in the NFL and several in college football, the Eagles have had a pipeline over the past 10 years.
The Class of 2008 is no different. Receivers Denzel Wells and Darius Bolden had tremendous senior seasons and they are reaping the benefits of their success.

"We've had kids from Byron Ealy of the Tennessee Titans to Chris Francis of the Green Bay Packers come through here," Cy Falls coach David Raffield said. "The baton was passed to these guys."
The 5-foot-11 Bolden committed to Texas State Friday and Wells is visiting Rice this weekend before making his decision.
"Bolden had 63 catches this year and he's such a competitor," Raffield said. "He has a lot of experience at the position and is going to be a stud in college. People missed the boat on him."
Wells officially visited Fresno State in early January and has offers from Rice and SMU. He is also being heavily courted by Arkansas and SMU, but has not received an offer to date.
"Wells is ripped up and looks pretty," Raffield said. "He has that tremendous speed that schools are looking for. He moved from running back to receiver for his senior season."
Wells had over 1,000 yards receiving on his way to several post season awards.
As for the school's headliner, running back Shane Turner is taking his time with the recruiting process. Turner will be visiting Rice this weekend after officially visiting Fresno State and Boston College.
"It's anyone's guess with Shane," he said.
