Hoskey makes it official
Richmond (Va.) Henrico cornerback DreQuan Hoskey made his decision final last week. The 5-foot-11, 160-pounder gave his pledge to the I-AA national champion Richmond Spiders.
"I committed last week to Richmond," he said. "I gave my pledge to Coach London. He explained to me how Richmond is supposed to be a family and it's not just the football team, but also a family that helps out the community and does community service.

"They only wanted to show love to me and there was no way I could turn them down."
Hoskey claims the coaches were a major factor in his selection.
"It was the coaching staff and Coach London," he said. "I like the relationship I have with them and I feel I'm supposed to be there. They respect me."
A few other factors were at play as well.
"I like the campus a lot and it's closer to my house," he said. "It's much easier for my family to come see my games."
Obviously one other factor is important, playing time.
"He said I do have a big chance for playing time and getting in the five deep next football season. I'll have a better chance to start as a freshman."
